HARTSELLE -- Funeral for Ella Franks, 89, of Falkville will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Burns officiating.
Burial will be in Roden Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Franks died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 18, 1911, in Lawrence County to Samuel Houston Roden and Lucy Ellen Jackson Roden. She was a homemaker and member of Rural Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Franks and Jimmy Franks, both of Hartselle; four daughters, Nadine Lou Allen of South Lebanon, Ohio, Helen Hulsey of Oklahoma, Kathleen Hankins of Cullman and Carolyn Lankster of Falkville; one sister, Geneva Craig of St. Charles, Mo.; 30 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and 46 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
