Joyce R. Biggs, 73 of Taneyville died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at Cox Hospital in Springfield.
Joyce was born August 3, 1929 in Long Run, the daughter of George Elmer and Lila Lou Minta (Pellham) Griffith.
Joyce was owner and operator of a home for the handicapped, a member at Taneyville Union Chapel and a member of the Eastern Star Hayworth Chapter #32.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Biggs of Forsyth and Steve Biggs of Taneyville, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one sister, Margie Holt of Modesto, Calif., and one brother, Harold Griffith of Powersite.
Preceding Joyce in death was her husband Jim, her parents, three brothers and one sister.
Services were held Saturday, June 14, at the White River Association Building. Burial followed in Dickens Cemetery in Taneyville.
Arrangements were under the direction of Whelchel Funeral Chapels, Forsyth.
