Stella was the daughter of William Lea James and Lena May (Hoag) James. On March 10, 1915 (Stella's birthday) in Tomah, Monroe, Wiscosin; Stella was united in marriage to Wesley Grey Reynolds. They had one son, Robert LeRoy Reynolds, who died at age six. Stella and Wesley adopted a sibling group of three and another child: June Letitia (Reynolds) Lindstrom Hazen, Dorothy G. (Reynolds) Raymond, Melvin Keith Reynolds, Marvin Dale Reynolds. Some people have Stella listed as Estella but I believe this is a mistake. Her birth certificate says Stella. The 1900 census lists her as Estella which I believe is a mistake. It is the only place where she is listed as Estella.
