Deceased Name: Ella Marie Nalder

LAYTON - Ella Marie Nalder passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 25, 2004.

She was born March 6, 1921 in Layton, Utah to parents Parley and Ella Love Ray.

On December 29, 1937 she married W. Dale Nalder.

Their vows were later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

She was the proud mother of four children, Evan, Bonnie, J.R. and Jeffrey.

She was also a wonderful grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Marie and her husband owned and operated Travelers Cafe in Layton for many years. She also worked for B&B Dept. Store, Sperry Rand and then retired from Hill Air Force Base. She was a member of the Layton Fairfield Ward, where over the years she held various positions.

Marie will be remembered for wonderful cooking and for the loving way she took care of her family.

She is survived by her sons J.R. (Kris) Nalder, Jeffrey (Jodi) Nalder, son-in-law Michael Wilder, and sister Afton (Jay) Adams. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Dale, son Evan, daughter Bonnie Wilder and brothers Jack Ray and Leon Ray.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

The family would like to thank IHC Hospice and Dr. Todd Shelby for their care and support. Special thanks to Teresa Gonzales for her friendship and loving care to Marie for the past six years.
