Benjamin S. Wood, searcher of records for the Alameda Title and Insurance Company of this city, died at the Alta Bates sanitarium in Berkeley yesterday afternoon following a short illness.
Wood, who would have been 45 years old today, was born in Healdsburg. He had been with the title company for twelve years.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. May D. Wood, and two daughters, Valeria and Elizabeth Wood.
Funeral services were held at a local undertaking parlor today. The remains will be shipped to Healdsburg, Sonoma county, and interred there tomorrow.
