JESSIE L. BUMGARNER
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church May 5 for Mrs. Jessie L. Bumgarner, 95, who died May 2 at Calloway Nursing Home in Sulphur. Rev. Finis Steelman and Rev. Jim House officiated. Interment was in Green Hill Cemetery with arrangements by Fox Funeral Home.
Born Nov. 14, 1888 at Milan County, TX, she had lived in the Woodland-Davis area most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married Stanley Bumgarner Jan. 21, 1906 in Addington. He preceded her in death, Dec. 30, 1969.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edna Mulkey and Mrs. Faye Beck, both of Davis; two sons. U. L. Bumgarner and Troy Bumgarner, both of Oklahoma City; 13 grandchildren; and several great and great great grandchildren.
One son, Stanley M. Bumgarner, jr., preceded her in death, Oct. 25, 1981.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
