Annie G. Froedge, 91, of Flat Rock died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born April 12, 1918, in Edmonton, Ky., she was the daughter of Claude and Stella (Jessee) Harper. She married Henry Gordon Froedge on Sept. 10, 1935, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 1, 1992.

Survivors include her children, Barbara (husband, Wayne) Pierce, Judy (husband, Malcolm) Bragg, Janice (husband, Kenton) Gosser, all of Flat Rock, Stella Asbury and Betty Wicker, both of Hope, Bernice (husband, John) Thompson and Ronnie (wife, Teresa) Froedge, both of Columbus; 35 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Junior Froedge; son-in-law, John Asbury; daughters-in-law, Margie Froedge and Jenni Froedge; grandchildren, Joy Pierce and Bridget Froedge; two brothers; and three sisters.

Mrs. Froedge was a homemaker and loved quilting and cooking for her family and friends.

She was a member of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Norman Funeral Home, 604 Main St. in Hope; and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Hawcreek Missionary Baptist Church, 605 Mill Street in Hope.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

Burial will be in Hawcreek Cemetery, north of Hope.

Annie G. Froedge, 91,of Flat Rock died Thursday, June 18, 2009, at Hospice of South Central Indiana.

She was a housewife and loved cooking for her family and friends and quilting.

She was a member of the Freedom Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hawcreek Missionary Baptist Church in Hope with Bro. Phillip Knight officiating. Tommy Asbury will read the obituary. Calling will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope and on Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Hawcreek Cemetery North of Hope.
