Dick W. Beard, 74. died Thursday in Bryan at the home of his son, Jim B. Beard.
Born in Austin March 6, 1886, he was a retired district manager of Sinclair Oil Company. He formerly resided m Houston.
Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. A. L. Sullivan and Miss Helen Beard, both of Fort Worth; a sister, Mrs. Merton Parrish, La Coste; five brothers, C. G. Beard and C. R. Beard, both of Austin, C W. Beard. Fort Worth, T. A. Beard, Alpine and A. J. Beard, San Antonio; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Weed-Corley Funeral Home Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Tom Beard, John Beard. George Beard, Bob by Beard, Bill Beard and Norman Beard, all nephews.
