OAK GROVE, LA - Funeral services for Mrs. Doris B. "Noog" Boutwell, age 83, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2PM on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Beulah Baptist Church in the Beulah Community west of Oak Grove.
Reverend Kenny Herring will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Beulah Cemetery near Oak Grove.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Mrs. Boutwell died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at West Carroll Care Center in Oak Grove.
She was a retired tower guard from the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola, Louisiana. She was a member of the Beulah Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Towner R. "Pete" Boutwell; her parents, Hiram Bryant Bonner and Ethel Beatrice Cooper Bonner; brother, Monroe "Hop" Bonner; brother, A. L. "Hawk" Bonner; and sister, Verona Edith Breazeale.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Gary Neil and Johnnie Boutwell of Hammond, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jerry Hagan of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Noel Hibbard of Calhoun, Louisiana; daughter, Reva Denise Hatten of Oak Grove; daughter, Tiffany Danielle Boutwell of West Monroe, Louisiana; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
