CARL K. GANTZ
Carl K. Gantz, 372 Prindle St., Sharon, died at 1:15 a.m. today (4-13-82) in Sharon General Hospital. He was 85.
Mr. Gantz was born Feb 20. 1897, in Akron, Ohio, to Warren and Effie Everhardt Gantz.
He has been a valley resident for the past 80 years. Before retiring in February 1962, he was employed for 39 years at Sharon Transformer Division, Westinghouse Electric Corp. where he was a mold maker in the carpenter shop.
Mr. Gantz was a member of East Side Church Baptist-Disciple of Christ, Sharon, an elder emeritus of the church and had served in various capacities.
Surviving are his wife, the former Rachel Cameron, whom he married April 10, 1920; a daughter, Mrs. Otto (Dolores) Klaas, Mercer; a son, Harley, Moline, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. William (Uldene) Cameron, San Gabriel, Calif.; a brother, Sterling, Sharon; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
