Bertha I. Barnhart - Pueblo Chieftain - June 21, 1987 - Bertha I. Barnhart, a lifetime Pueblo resident, late of 300 Nielson Ave., passed away June 18, 1987, in Peoria, Ariz. Mrs. Barnhart was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, Lloyd (Gail) Barnhart, and one daughter, Beverly (Larry) Stevenson, both of Pueblo; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley A. (Betty) Leftwich of Littleton; and a close friend, Aileen Swartwood of Pueblo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rainey L. Barnhart, in 1981. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Adrian Comer Garden Chapel, with the Rev. Philip L. Green of the Bethel United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Those who wish may make donations to the Bethel United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. The family may be contacted at 300 Nelson Ave.
