Mrs. WILLIAM P. BROMLEY
The funeral of Mrs. Lydia Mae Bromley, 92, of Upper Main Street, North Bennington, was held this morning at the Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery in North Bennington.
Mrs. Bromley was a native of Shaftsbury, born Feb. 10, 1881, the daughter of Silas and Susan (Pratt) Millington, and she received her education in the schools of Cambridge, N.Y.
She and her husband, the late William P. Bromley, spent their entire married life in North Bennington, and for many years Mrs. Bromley was a housekeeper at Bennington College. She was one of the oldest member of the North Bennington Baptist Church, and she was a long-time member and past worthy matron of the Tucker chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the Bennington Rescue Squad through the funeral home.
