Donna Jean Parker, 65, of Cashmere, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 20, 1998 at her residence from a long battle of cancer. She was born Jan. 10, 1933 in Minot, ND to Clarence and Alice (Marsh) Jungberg and has been a lifelong resident of Chelan County, living the past 18 years in Cashmere.

Donna and O.T. Parker were married on July 10, 1949 in Okanogan. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and working crossword puzzles. Donna and O.T. enjoyed extensive traveling since his retirement. Her interest and her life centered around her love and care of her husband, children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Linda Johson of Cashmere, Ginger Syring and her husband Niles of Wenatchee, Kathy Hicks and her husband Clark, David Parker and his wife Dale of Cashmere, Lisa Ivins and her husband Mark of Spokane; 13 grandchildren; her sister, Beverly Wallace of Wenatchee. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and her husband O.T. Parker in Dec. 1996.

Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998 at Betts Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Our House or Central Washington Hospital Home Health and Hospice. Services are under the care of Betts Funeral Service, Wenatchee.
