Mrs. Murphy died unexpectedly Saturday night in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1922 in Angelina County and had resided here all her life. She was employed at Daiches' Jewelry and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, D. L. (Jim) Murphy; daughters, Margaret Childers and Judy Murphy; sons, David L. and Charles E.; mother, Mrs. L. D. Parise; brother, Louis Parise; sisters, Lucille Parise, Virginia Hathorn and Katherine Hayter; two grandchildren, Mark Childers and Jarod Murphy.
