Martha "Patsy" Hall was the 3rd child of Patrick Hall and Susanna McChesney. She married her second cousin, widower Thomas McChesney, on 6 Jan 1818. Thomas' grandfather James McChesney was her mother's brother. They had no children.
Cyrus Hall McCormick (of the reaper fame) and his brother Leander James McCormick were the children of Patsy's sister Mary Ann McChesney Hall and Robert McCormick, Jr. They paid for her large flat table stone marker in 1894.
Leander J McCormick's Family Record and Biography was published in 1895. Page 349 says Martha Patsy Hall was born in 1776, not "1770." This also fits in better with the 1773 marriage date of her parents.
