Sturgis --- Funeral services are planned Wednesday for Miss Birdella L. Stainbrook, long-time Meade County resident who died Monday morning in Sturgis. Rites are scheduled for 2 p.m. from the Red Owl Community Hall, with Rev. C. D. Erskine officiating. Burial will be in the Red Owl Cemetery under direction of the F.O. Jolley Funeral Home, Sturgis.
Miss Stainbrook died at the home of a nephew, Kenneth Stainbrook. Born Jan. 27, 1885, she came to Meade County to settle at Stoneville in 1914.
He survivors include a sister, Emma Stainbrook of Stoneville; a brother, Christopher Stainbrook of Sturgis; and several nieces and nephews.
