Funeral Service Set Wednesday For Mrs. Covington, 94
PAMPLIN - May 30 - Mrs. Lou (Rassie) Price Covington, 94, died Monday, May 29, 1989 in a local nursing home. She was born July 1, 1894 in Prince Edward County, a daughter of the late Luke A. Price and Florence Hubbard Price. She was the widow of John M. Covington. She is survived by six daughters, Lois Gilliam, Iona Phillips and Florence Baldwin all of Pamplin, Mrs. Earl Hubbard of Richmond, Judy Rutledge of Williamsburg, Sally Colllins of Farmville; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Olive Branch United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight (Tuesday) 7 to 9 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville.
