Rebecca Anne "Becky" Babcock, 54, Thayer, died Monday, March 10, 2008, at the Via Christi St. Francis Campus, Wichita.
She was born Oct. 8, 1953, in Marysville, California, to Keys and Sylvia (Reynolds) Roddan.
She attended schools in California, graduating from Yuba College in Marysville in 1973.
She married Jay D. Babcock on May 28, 1988, in Wheatland, California. He survives.
She moved with her husband to Thayer, Kansas four years ago.
She was a nurse for more than 22 years.
She is also survived by a sister, Hallee Fortner, Wheatland, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Eileen Marston.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at the Thayer Christian Church, Thayer, Kansas. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Thayer Christian Church.
