FUNERAL SERVICES FOR FANNIE COOK MACOMBER, 92, formerly of 900 E. Bowie, Marshall, were held at 2:30 P. M. today in Jim Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. N. M. Vandergriff officiating. Burial was in Algoma Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Macomber died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 1983, in Merritt Plaza Nursing Home after a long illness.
The daughter of Frances and George Cook, she was born Oct. 17, 1891 in Harrison County. She was a life long resident of Harrison County, a housewife and was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Morris Wililams of Tyler; one sister, Georgia James of Farmersville; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
NOTE: June 2009 - Verified with Sullivan Funeral Home-buried in Algoma - A 3W-Space 2 - next to Arthur O. Macomber - We did not find a marker present - Shirley Hart Dillingham & Oneida Cook Loyd Ritter.
