William L. "Bink" Altman, 93, of 914 Pleasant View Drive passed away at his home on June 6, 2009, at 7:05 p.m.He was born in Struthers, Ohio, on Jan. 28, 1916, to the late John and Clara Williams Altman.
Married Georgia McConnell Altman. She passed away on Jan. 27, 2008.
He retired from The Cathedral, were he worked in the janitorial department. He attended Gardner Chapel Assembly of God Church.
Survived by a daughter, Wanda Bigley of New Castle; one son, Dewey L. Altman of Portersville; three grandchildren, Judi Jackson of New Castle, Dewey L. Altman Jr. of Portersville and Lynne Altman of Florida; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Georgia; two sisters, Ellen Gumley and Clara Evans; and two brothers, Raymond and John Altman,
Visitation will be tomorrow from 10 to 11 a.m. at the R.
