Kimsey—At his home near Macleay, on Thursday, April 26, 1906, Edson Kimsey, aged 80 years and six days.
Mr Kimsey was born in Howard County, Missouri, April 20, 1826. He crossed the plains in 1847 and settled on the homestead where he died. He was married in this county in 1852 to Miss Jane Malinda Walker, who survives him, besides four children—John, at Silver Creek Falls, James, on the home place, Mrs. Tull of Barlow and a widowed daughter in Arizona. Mr. Kimsey was for years a member of the Christian church and was a good citizen and well respected in his community.
His funeral will be held at the residence on Saturday morning at 10:30 and the remains will be buried in the Macleay cemetery.
