Mrs. Laura Temperance Jones, 84, Cain St., Huntsville, died July 15, 6:15 p.m. in the Madison County Hospital following an extended illness. She was born near Kingston, Aug. 9, 1887 the daughter of John and Gemina Bolinger Stansell. The widow of Wiley Oscar Jones, who preceded her in death in Feb., 1961, she was a lifetime resident of Madison County and a member of Huntsville Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Clell, Virgil and Everett Jones, all of Huntsville; three grandchildren four great-grandchildren; one brother, Asberry Stansell of Nortonville, Kans.; one sister, Mrs. Anna Boatright of Springdale.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Huntsville Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Noel Easterling and Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating.

Pallbearers were Dewell Jones, Roy Jones, Lawrence Jones, Leonard Stansell, Douglas Stansell and Lee Stansell.

Burial was in the Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
