(from Chancy Jr.) Grandpa Harris was a farmer in his younger years. Grandpa, Uncle Tom, and Uncle Bill made molasses for farmers all over the countryside. They also raised sweet potatoes and sold them. Grandma and Grandpa always had a sweet potato baking. Grandpa had a team of horses that he used to farm with. He called his horses, Pet and Babe.
