SEYMOUR [Baylor Co., TX]—Joe B. Alford, 84, of Colorado Springs [El Paso Co.], Colorado died on Tuesday, June 3, 2003, in Colorado Springs. Graveside services were held on Monday in Old Seymour Cemetery [Seymour, Baylor Co., TX]. Archer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Alford was an executive director of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgy, and Petroleum Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, George Marie; daughter, Frances Rolater of Colorado Springs; a son, Joe Dudley; and two grandsons.
