FOLEY - Acie Martin Southern, a native of Meridian, Miss., and a resident of Foley, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000. He was 67 years old. Survivors include his wife, Minnie E. Southern of Foley; his daughter, Lynda Johnson of Elberta; his son, James Southern of Foley; his sister, Alberta Busby of Stonewall, Miss.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with burial in Pine Rest Memorial Park. Pine Rest Funeral Home of Foley is handling arrangements.
