Funeral services Thursday of last week in the Roosevelt Fourth Ward Chapel honored Effie Mable Odekirk Casper, 84, of Roosevelt who died March 31 in the Roosevelt Hospital of natural causes.
Mrs. Casper was born March 29, 1885 in Vernal to Isaac and Margaret Dana Odekirk. She married William W. Casper, November 6, 1901 in Vernal. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February of 1937.
Survivors include her son and daughters, Kenneth, Frank (Kelly) Wayne, Mrs. Russell (Joyce) Phillips, all of Roosevelt; Mrs. Emil (Venice) Ornich, Milpitas, California; Charles, Salt Lake City; 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother and sister, Ernest Odekirk, Duchesne; Lula Clark, Springville.
Burial was in the Duchesne Cemetery.
