Her Death Occurs at Fish Creek Landing
Vienna, Dec. 24 – Mrs. Achus Collins died yesterday morning at her late home near Fish Creek Landing. Mrs. Collins was born May 5, 1835, in Verona, where she resided until some years after her marriage with Achus Collins, which occurred Jan. 1, 1860. Besides her husband, Mrs. Collins leaves three sons, Roscoe, Etson and Romaine, and one daughter, Mrs. George Kilts. Mrs. Collins had been an invalid for several years, and her death was not unexpected. She had many friends who sincerely mourn her death. Funeral services will occur at the M. E. Church at Vienna Friday at 11 a.m. Rev. J. M. Thomas, officiating. Interment at Higginsville.
