BURDICK – In Verona, Oneida Co., N.Y., July 27th 1861, of typhus fever, Horace E. Burdick, son of Henry S. and Martha A. Burdick, aged 28 years and 3 months. He had been from home for some months in the West, but returned, and after two weeks sickness, died, surrounded by the members of his own family, leaving them some hope, that, though he had never made an open profession of religion, he found forgiveness and acceptance with God.
