WIFE, DEAD
Mrs. Fay Neel Baylor, wife of Harry E. Baylor, treasurer of the City of Staunton, died at her home, 401 North New Street, Tuesday afternoon at 3:25 after an illness of sixteen months.
Mrs. Baylor was born at Gap Mills, W. Va., a daughter of the late Cyrus and Nancy Ross Neel. She was a very active member of the First Presbyterian Church, having served as secretary of the junior department of the Sunday School, a member of the church choir, and chairman of the refreshment committee. Mrs. Baylor was also a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the Silver Cross Circle, and very active in the Needlework Guild.
Survivors include her husband, H.E. Baylor; a son, Harry E. Baylor Jr. of Danville; a sister, Mrs. Hugh McClure, Staunton, and a nephew, Hugh N. McClure, Charlottesville.
Burial will be in Thornrose Cemetery.
