"Harry C Bowser, former Worthington Fire Chief of the Worthington West Franklin Fire Department where he served as chief for 25 years and former member of the Worthington borough Council died in the Presbyterian-University Hospital, Pittsburg. He was an active volunteer with the fire department's ambulance service.
Mr Bowser had owned and operated Bowser's Feed Store in Worthington for 36 years and was a 50 year member of the "Bobcats" hunting Club.
Born Sept 6, 1907 in West Franklin Township and was the son of Frank J and Maude Bruner Bowser.
Surviving are his wife Alice Miller Bowser, one daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
...Burial will be in the Franklin Baptist Church cemetery."



Harry was in the Army during WW11 from 24 Jan 1944 to 22 Sept 1944, rank Private.
