Mrs. Ada Burnside, 78, of Bogota, passed away Tuesday morning at the Richland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at the Seessengood - Marshall Funeral Home at Newton with Rev. Lloyd Shelton in charge. Burial will be at Honey cemetery near Bogota. Friends may call at the funeral home at Newton .
Mrs. Burnsides was born in Jasper county on January 31, 1890, daughter of William and Lucinda Greenwood Wakefield. She was married to Ira Burnsides, who passed away on March 7, 1959. A son, Medford, passed away early in 1968.
She is survived by a son, Warren, of Monterey, Calif., and nine grandchildren, and a brother, Jerry Wakefield of Evansville, Indiana. A nephew, Reese, Wakefield, of Greenup also survives.
