Mrs. Etta Richardson Adams, age 76, of Drakes Branch, Va., died Saturday, December 29, 1979 at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie M. Adams; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel A. Abbitt of Pamplin, Mrs. Pansey A. Sloan of Avon, ILL., Mrs. Dorothy A. Martin of Keysville; four sons, Robert Adams of Drakes Branch, Clay Adams of Galesburg, ILL., Paul Adams of Prairie City, ILL., Reed Adams of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Pansy R. Pruitt and Mrs. Neva Brugess, both of Trapp Hill, N.C., Mrs. Vertie Billings of Bridgeville, Md., one brother, George B. Richardson of Keysville; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 31, from the Browning Funeral Home, Keysvile, with interment in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
