COALVILLE--Ace Lloyd Bedsaul, 78, passed away April 14, 1997 in the Veterans Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ace was born Jan. 20, 1919 in Casper, Wyo., a son of Frank V. and Grace Jewel Hines Bedsaul. He moved with his family to Coalville, Utah where he graduated from North Summit High School and excelled in athletics. He attended Weber College and B.Y.U. on basketball scholarships. He played semi-pro baseball for Coors Beer Co. and also Stocks Lincoln Mercury in Ogden, Utah. He also worked there as a salesman. He also worked at various car dealerships in Salt Lake as a salesman. He moved to Rock Springs where he worked at McCurtains Motors for 15 years.

He married Theo Woodward in Salt Lake City. They were later divorced. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry Div. where he attained the rank on 1st Lt. and served most of his military career in Germany during World War II.

He is survived by four children, Bobbie Wilson, Salt Lake City, Utah; Holly Trisoliere and Lori Bedsaul, both of Mesa, Ariz.; Cindy Bedsaul, Phoenix, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Dusty and Misty Wade, Shea and Tanner Trisoliere, Todd Richardson, Salem, Oregon; two sisters, Frances Barber, Fruit Heights, Utah, and Joy Bedsaul, St. George, Utah. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Muriel Bedsaul.

Graveside services will be held Thurs., May 1, 1997, 1 p.m. in the Coalville City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Walker Mortuary, Coalville, Utah
