Rapper. She was the first female rapper signed by Motown Records, releasing her first album, ‘Gotta Get a Grip' in 1990 under the name M C Trouble. The album launched a hit single ‘I Wanna Make You Mine.' In 1991, while in production for her second album, she succumbed to a severe epileptic seizure which resulted in heart failure. Fellow rapper, Nefertiti, dedicated her recording, ‘Trouble in Paradise' to Rogers.
