Mark Matthew Laurence Jr. - A native of Mobile and a resident of Gadsden, AL., died Friday, November 7, 2008 at home. Mr. Laurence was general manager for AIG Insurance. He is survived by his children, Mark Matthew (Amy) Laurence, III, John Michael (Amy) Laurence and Andrew Luke Laurence, all of Mobile; his brother, Charles Anthony (Robin) Laurence of Mobile; sisters, Theresa Marie (Edward) Nurse and Karen Rose Laurence, both of Mobile; his mother, Rosemary Laurence of Mobile and six grandchildren, Mark, IV, Emily, Dreyeton, Madison, Lauren and Mitchell; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
