Donald E. Barrick, 86, of Carlisle, died Friday, March 28, 2003, in Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
Born on Sept. 14, 1916, in Newville, he was the son of the late Harvey A. and Mabel (Grace) Bowers Barrick.
He was a caretaker for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources, Harrisburg, and was the caretaker at Kings Gap for 46 years.
Mr. Barrick was a former employee of the former C.H. Masland and Sons, Carlisle.
He enjoyed working in his garden and being outdoors.
Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Mary E. (Raudabaugh) Barrick; a daughter, Mary Ann Wagner of Gardners; two grandchildren, Lisa Highlands and Laresa Synder, and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Calvin A. Barrick and Victor E. Barrick, and one sister, Beulah Rockey.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Kathryn Johnston officiating.
Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery, Mt. Holly Springs. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dickinson Presbyterian Church, 12 Church Road, Carlisle, PA 17013.
