John H Leach 79 who died early Monday morning at Corona, Calif of a heart ailment, was buried in the family plot in the Plainview Cemetery Friday afternoon following funeral services at the First Methodist church. Mr Leach was a pioneer rancher and cattleman and lived in Hale County for 46 years before moving to California in 1927. The body arrived here Thursday afternoon and was taken to the Roy G wood funeral Home. Dr L N Lipscomb superintendent of Plainview Methodist district and former pastor of the Methodist church here, offficiated at the funeral.
Mrs. Leach, three daughters and three sons survive.
Pallbeareres were: E M Carter Jr, A P Garrett, R E Hooper, M L McWhorter, Ed A Ross and M F Blakemore
