Mr. and Mrs. John H. Price have the sympathy of this entire community as this winter seems to be about the worst in their history. Late in the fall Mr. Price took smallpox. They had but cleaned up after his recovery when some of the children took the disease four and five years of age. Last Wednesday the little fellow took convulsions and was very sick.

The doctor was called and pronounced the child suffering from cerebral spinal meningitis from which he died on Friday. The rest of the family are getting along fine and is is to be hoped the quarantine will soon be raised from this stricken home.

Mr. and Mrs. John H. Price of Charleston feel that the kindness which expresses itself in deeds as words was the kind beftowed upon them by many of their neighbors and friends during their recent affliction, and loss of their dear one, and they sincerely hope under similar conditions to be able to return such kindly deeds.
