Was a lawyer in Nashville Tennessee prior to the war between the states. He was 2nd Lt. Co A 1st Tennessee,discharged Aug 1,1861 then Major 14th Al. Cav.1862, Col 9th Al. cav Sept 5,1864 wounded three times,paroled July 1865.Married Eva Williams Oct.12, 1881.Post war lawyer in Nashville Tennessee.Died Sept.11,1908.Buried in the
Mt.Olivet Cemetery,Nashville,Davidson county Tennessee.
