Joye Hennigan, 68, of Woodville, died Monday, November 3, 1997 at the Dogwood Trails Manor Nursing Home in Woodville, Texas. Services are Wednesday, November 5, 1997 at 10 a.m. in the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville with burial in Little Hope Cemetery near Jasper.

Officiating at the services will be Brother Clifford Neal. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Hatton, Neil Hennigan, Derrick Hennigan, David Hennigan, Derrick Hennigan, David Hennigan, Steven Hennigan, and Phil Hennigan.

She was a native of Jasper and a long time resident of Woodville. She had worked as an associate with Wal Mart and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Polk Hennigan in 1983.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Hennigan of Woodville, and Phil Hennigan of Center; daughter, Connie Hatton of Greeley, CO; brother, Stone Martindale of Jasper; sister, Edna Thompson of Houston; seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Services under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville, Texas. Published in the Tyler County Booster.
