She was born Aug. 30, 1931, at Burkette, the daughter of Edward and Mary Mildred Ehret Norman. She married Wilbert Boese June 15, 1949, at Larned. A resident of Susank for most of life, coming from Burdette, she was former owner of Susank Tavern.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Dennis L. Boese of Great Bend and David L. Boese of Susank; one daughter, Diana L. Wilson of Susank; one sister, Betty Shinkle of Wichita; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, George Edward Norman; two sisters, Juanita Norman and Lynda Norman; and two grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Browns Grove Cemetery in Burdette with the Rev. Don Fisher officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington. Memorials are suggested to the family, in care of the funeral home.
