of Willis Road died at General Hospital friday night at 8 after a long illness.
A Veteran of World War I; and a Member of Fairforest Baptist Church; Son of the late
Mr.James Henry and Barbara Addie Cooke Simmons.
Also surviving are sons; James H.Simmons of Spartanburg and
Ray Simmons of Simpsonville; daughter, Mrs Katherine Prince
of Atlanta; brothers, Jesse and Lewis Simmons both of
Spartanburg; sisters; Mrs. Beulah Reiser,Of Denver
Colarado, Mrs. Emmie Stricklandof Campobello and Mrs Lula Mae Smith of Spartanburg and Almer High of Lyman.
He was Preceded in Death by 5- brothers and 5- sisters. services 3 Sunday at the J,F.Floyd Mortuary by
the Rev. Floyd D. Loudermilk, burial in Fairforest Cemetery.
Family to receive frieds 7-9 tonight at the mortuary.
