Vernon Glenn Boese, 62, died Sunday at his home. Born April 16, 1915 in Rush County, he married Ella Eilts, July 11, 1937 at La Crosse. He was the retired manager of Bunge Elevator, Burdett. He lived here since 1954.
He was a member of the Church of the Latter Day Saints, Alexander.
Survivors include widow; sons: LaVern, Bushton; Bob, Ft, Collins, Colorado; Rodney, Rose Hill, Brent, of the home; daughters: Mrs. Glenna Belcher, Kinsley; Mrs. Shirley Shank, Burdett; Mrs. Marva McDonald, Jeffrey City, Wyoming; Mrs. Sandra Sour, Rozel; brothers; Wilbert, Susank; Robert, Great Bend; sisters; Mrs. Viola Ellis, Rozel; Mrs. Fern Narin, Great Bend, father; Bill Boese, Alexander.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Vernon Funeral Home, Larned; Rev. Robert Simonson. Burial will be in Browns Grove Cemetery, Burdett. Friends may call until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Family suggests memorial to American Legion, Burdett.
