Campobello - Mrs. NANCY UNDERWOOD SKINNER, 78, widow of EDDIE E. SKINNER, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. LIDA FARMER of Campobello Route 2. She had been in declining health for several years. A member of the Motlow Creek Baptist Church, she was a daughter of the late WILLIAM & MARY HOWELL UNDERWOOD. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. WINNIE NODINE, Mrs. MINTIE RAINEY, Mrs. ANNIE AYERS, and Mrs. LIDA FARMER: three sons, GRADY, BROOKS, and LLYOD SKINNER; one brother, ROBERT UNDERWOOD; one sister, Mrs. DOSHIE TOOLEY; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3 p.m. at the Motlow Creek Baptist Church by the Revs. MARSHAL BARNETT, WAYNE COATES, ALBERT JOHNSON and A. T. HOWARD. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. L., CHARLES, and DANIEL SKINER, HULON NODINE, RAY ATKINS and KENNETH AYERS. Members of the ladies Adult Sunday School Class of Motlow Creek Baptist Church will form an honorary escort. The body will be at the home of a daughter, Mrs. LIDA FARMER, after 10 a.m. Thursday. Petty Funeral of Landrum is in charge of arrangements.
