W. E. Hefner, 78 Dies Here
W. E. Hefner 78, of 416 South 9th, died at 7:25 pm last night at a local hospital after a short illness.
He came to Duncan 20 years ago and had lived with his daughter, Mrs. Joe Kubik, for several years. He was born in Van Buren, Arkansas.
Other survivors are two sisters and two brothers. They are Mrs. J. H. Trevethick, Mrs. W. A. Danielson, S. B. Hefner, of Pueblo, CO, and E. E. Hefner, of Oklahoma City.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm. Thursday in the Rangley-Holden Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. John A. Callan of the First Methodist Church officiating.
Bearers are C. M. Browder, Marshall Walters, Joe Ing, W. R. Trousdale, Ed Alexander, and Ralph Brooks. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery.
