My father was a physical chemist and educator. He was first married to my mother, Ruth Elizabeth Sealock, who died after delivering me. He later married Dorothy Darrup Longo, and had 5 more children. He suffered (really suffered) with a strange form of Parkinsons for many years, losing his greatest gift, his brain. He died peacefully in his sleep, finally. Our family grieved his loss for many years before he was blessedly released from the chains that bound him painfully to his earthly form.
