Mary Ellen Bee Horsley always had a Pekingese dog. If one died she got another Pekingese. She named every one of them George. As a child I thought that was funny that all of her dogs had the same name. She only had one dog at a time. They were not around children at her home so they did not care for little kids and growled at them. I kept my distance.
