BORDEN PEVY, 80, of Edgemont, Ark., formerly of Memphis, retired employee of Tennessee Liquefied Gas Co., died Monday at his home. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Big Creek Cemetery in Lucy, Tenn. Mr. Pevy, the husband of Eleanor Pevy, also leaves two daughters, Eleanor Black of Bartlett and Eva Tullos of Edgemont; three sons, Royce Pevy, Charles Pevy and Bill Goldsby, all of California; three sisters, Mary Holland, Julia Tucker and Bertha Key, and a brother, Martin Willis, all of Memphis, 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Borden worked at Memphis Light Gas & Water Division in Memphis Tennessee. He was one of the first LNG Plant Operators at the plant when it was built in 1967. Mr May was the supervisor at the plant when it opened.
