Clarence Lee Roden

Clarence Lee Roden, 79, of 209 East Chestnut St., died Saturday at the residence.

Survivors: wife, Lassie Roden; daughters, Sandra Drake and Lewana Brown, both of Gadsden; Donna Hicks, Centre; Reba Nelms, Moulton; sons, Lynn, Konnie and Sam Roden, all of Gadsden; Mike Roden, Guntersville; Thomas Roden, Decatur; Robert Roden, Athens.

Collier-Butler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church, Moulton, with the Rev. Bob Sims officiating. Burial in Providence Cemetery.

Other survivors; sister, Fannie Kidd, Town Creek; three sons-in-law, five daughters-in-law; 29 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Roden was a native of Lawrence County and a resident of Etowah County since 1943. He was retired from McMahan Nursery and was a member of the Baptist church.

The body will remain at Collier-Butler parlors.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 this evening.
