HOBBS, N.M. — Services for Adrian "A.M." Braziel, 80, of Hobbs will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Prairie Haven Chapel with the Rev. Dale Shook officiating.

Burial will be in Prairie Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Duncan-May Funeral Home in Hobbs.

He died Tuesday, March 4, 2003.

He was born Dec. 29, 1922, in Antlers, Okla. He served in the Army for eight years. He was a past member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He worked for McVey Drilling for 29 years and spent seven years in South America. He started a consulting company in 1977.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Yvonne Rolater of Dallas; two sons, Kenneth of Kingman, Ariz., and Bryant of Hobbs; a brother, Bill of Hobbs; and five grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to VistaCare Hospice or to American Cancer Society.
